What we’re looking for in a snapshot: A driven and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) who will be critical in 383’s growth. Positioned at the top of the sales and marketing funnel, the BDM will actively engage with potential clients through targeted outreach. The person we’re looking for isn’t afraid of hearing ‘no’ and will work tirelessly to get qualified prospects into our funnel. They will build a top-of-the-funnel pipeline that allows the sales team to nurture qualified leads through to a closed deal. About the Role We’re seeking a highly ambitious and commercially focused Business Development Manager to join our dynamic digital studio team at 383. You’ll be part of the growth team, working closely with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and the marketing and Business development team. You’ll play a pivotal role in top-of-funnel lead nurturing and client engagement for 383. You'll actively nurture leads across multiple channels, raise awareness of 383’s offerings, and support MQL to SQL transitions, coordinating with SMEs for seamless handover once leads are sales-ready. Working closely with our Marketing and Product teams, you’ll craft and deliver tailored content that builds relationships with senior stakeholders, helping prospects recognise the value of 383’s services in digital product design, development, and service design. Key Responsibilities In this role, you’ll be responsible for: Sales Pipeline Management: Building a robust sales pipeline that aligns with 383’s growth strategy and maintains high engagement with leads through content, automated nurture, or events. RFP & ITT Opportunity Scanning: Regularly sourcing RFP & ITT opportunities via private and public sector portals, triaging opportunities and sharing with SMEs for opportunity qualification, and providing administrative support on opportunities that meet the qualification criteria. Lead Nurturing & Qualification: Actively nurturing incoming leads, assessing and transitioning them from Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) to Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) status, ensuring they stay informed about 383’s services, events, and offerings. Qualifying and advancing prospects, and, when ready to buy, coordinating diary bookings with SMEs. Content & Events Coordination: Organising and promoting 383’s online and offline events to engage with key target prospects. Developing relevant thought leadership content (like case studies and white papers) that aligns with our target audience’s needs. Outreach & Networking Strategy: Proactively building 383’s industry reputation through multi-channel outreach, ABM campaigns, and industry networking events, including cultivating potential client and referrer networks. Engaging with senior leaders across multiple sectors to understand their needs, identify 383’s value-add, and onboard new prospects. Proposal & Administrative Support: Supporting SMEs in preparing proposals, and compiling relevant case studies to assist with final handover to close deals. Tracking & Reporting: Regularly tracking engagement metrics to assess pipeline effectiveness and improve conversion rates from marketing activities.
