Darlington Borough Council are seeking to recruit a Community Cook to cover the catering provision across the Extra Care Housing Schemes, preparing and serving meals to the residents and providing occasional support to the catering team at the Dolphin Centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and measuring out ingredients according to recipes, serving meals, stock control, temperature control, washing up, setting tables, cleaning tables and equipment and ensuring that a high standard of food hygiene/handling and safe working practices are used at all times.
This is a casual post and will include some weekend work.
