An opportunity has arisen at Redfield Edge Primary School for an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to provide maternity cover. You will join our team and contribute positively to our wider school environment by taking a key role in delivering high quality lessons for our pupils.
Role overview
You’ll provide a supportive and welcoming learning environment in the classroom, play a significant part in the ongoing development of all areas of the children’s education, and put assessment techniques into practice in line with the school’s ethos and principles. In order to deliver teaching and learning at a consistently high level, you’ll help with lesson planning that achieves the needs of all students.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience in Key Stage 1
* Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
* Understanding of relevant curriculum requirements
* Effective use of adaptive learning strategies to meet all pupil’s needs
* Is an excellent, innovative and creative teacher
* Has high expectations of children’s learning and behaviour
* Good communicator and team member who is caring, flexible and enthusiastic
* Demonstrates our school’s vision and values
* Supports mental wellbeing in pupils
* Ability to use data and assessments to note areas for improvement and sustain positive educational outcomes
