Job Description
Based at Various locations throughout Angus.
This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed.
In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
You will work directly with children and young people with a range of additional support needs in mainstream and resourced base provision. You will support children with their learning targets through developing positive and supportive relationships.
In addition, you will undertake a range of duties including supervising and assisting children, according to their needs, throughout the school day. You may be required, under the direction of the teacher, to prepare classroom resources and activities to support learning.

* Arbroath - single school
* Forfar/Kirriemuir - single school
* Brechin/Montrose - single school
* Carnoustie/Monifieth - single school
or
* Arbroath - working across a variety of schools in the Arbroath locality
* Forfar/Kirriemuir - working across a variety of schools in the Forfar/Kirriemuir locality
* Brechin/Montrose - working across a variety of schools in the Brechin/Montrose locality
* Carnoustie/Monifieth - working across a variety of schools in the Carnoustie/Monifieth locality
Working within a locality means that you will be required to work across a variety of schools during your period of employment. Pupil support is planned in advance and your line manager will work closely with you to provide a timetable of your allocated schools.
Positions are available on a supply and temporary basis.
Positions are available on a part time (minimum 5.5 hours) and full time basis (maximum 27.5 hours). Hours are worked term time only.
