Following a recent restructure, an opportunity has arisen across the Planning Policy, Economy, and Climate Change Service for a full time Business Support Officer role. The role will be managed by the Climate Change Manager but will provide administrative support to the Climate Change, Economic Development & Culture, Leisure and Wellbeing and Planning Policy Team’s.
As the Business Support Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative, and systems support to the service to assist in meeting identified work programmes and preparing related documents.
You will support Team’s by maintaining accurate records, managing electronic filing, raising purchase orders and goods receipting, all whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
You will be adept at managing administrative tasks, have experience in data inputting and customer communication, can demonstrate good financial understanding with strong attention to detail and demonstrate initiative to ensure effective administration and organisational systems. Adaptability and flexibility will be key.
You will be passionate about delivering a great service and experience, it is what will motivate you, getting it right first time, asking for support when you need it and building on the skills that you have developed elsewhere.
