We are currently recruiting for an Afterschool Nanny to start December: Description of your Role: The role is to care for 3 children aged 1, 5 and 6 years old. The role will include collecting the children from school and then collecting the youngest from nursery at 5pm. Driver essential. To help support the children with their homework, preparing and providing meals, light housework to ensure children's areas are tidy. You will then be required to get the youngest ready for bed, following a bedtime routine. As a nanny it is your responsibility to take care of the children, and keep them safe. Ultimately you will reassure parents that even when they are not around, their child remains in a safe and pleasant environment. Days/Hours: Monday 3pm - 6pm Tuesday No childcare needed Wednesday 3pm - 6pm Thursday 3pm - 6pm Friday 3pm to 6.45pm Total : 12.75 hours term time only. Extra hours in the holidays may be needed but can be discussed. Experience of working with young children essential. The right applicant will have a cheerful personality and be very approachable. You should be able to remain calm in a crisis and be able to think on your feet. Freedom will offer training as part of your on-boarding process. A current enhanced DBS will also be required.
