FINANCE INSIGHT ANALYST | HIGH WYCOMBE
We’re looking for a fabulous Insight Analyst to join our Finance team in a brand-new role and play a key part in growing and supporting our financial and KPI analysis, reporting, and business insights.
This position is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual with a passion for retail and a desire to grow within a collaborative team.
What You’ll Do
1. Take charge of weekly sales reconciliations, analysing data to identify discrepancies and collaborate with relevant teams to rectify any issues promptly.
2. Assume responsibility for monthly reconciliations, ensuring the accurate accounting of sales and Value Added Tax (VAT) within the ledger.
3. Own the month-end reporting process for sales and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Work closely with team members to compile and submit comprehensive reports, offering valuable insights into performance and trends.
4. Provide analytical support to both Online and Store teams to enhance business results. Collaborate closely with these teams to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to strategic decision-making.
5. Act as a business partner to an area team, providing support to Store Managers in understanding financials and KPIs.
6. Take ownership of the monitoring and improvement of dashboards, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
What You’ll Bring
1. Graduate in Accounting and Finance, Business, Maths or related degree.
2. Part Qualified in CIMA or ACCA with 18 months plus experience; or 18 months plus experience in a commercial or data led role.
3. You’ll continuously drive enhancements in financial and business processes.
4. Enjoy working with data, have a curious mindset and are constantly looking for ways to improve.
5. You are someone that thrives in a highly commercial environment and enjoys the fast pace of retail.
6. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within a dynamic team environment.
