An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts Department on a permanent part time basis.
The Role:
Daily posting of bank transactions using bank feeds
Assist with Sales Ledger processes
Post purchase invoices on Sage 50 Accounts
Process payments
Reconcile supplier statements & prepare payment runs
Raise Intercompany recharges
Process sub-contractor invoices & submit CIS returns
Assisting with month end procedures
Potential additional ad-hoc tasks as required
Experience/Qualifications:
Knowledge of accounting and financial processes
Previous experience in Accounts Assistant role essential
AAT Level 2 or above desired but not compulsory with the relevant experience
Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to work efficiently with good time management & attention to detail
Strong organizational & problem solving skills
Ability to work on your own initiative, although also as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
