We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and talented Assistant General Manager to join the Integrated Pathways Division. Reporting to the General Manager, this is a key leadership role within our CDG. This post is fixed term for 9 months covering Maternity leave.
You will contribute to the delivery and implementation of our strategic plans by being actively involved in business planning, service developments, data management and workforce resourcing. You will oversee the day to day operational management to ensure high standard services are achieved across the specialities, delivery of key performance indicators and continual development and review of processes for improving productivity.

You will be working as a key part of the Clinical Delivery Group management team and a proven track record of leading teams as well as undertaking the challenges of delivery in a fast paced, acute setting is essential. You should be highly motivated, organised and able to work well under pressure.
• Ensure that service delivery standards are achieved (for instance, wait time milestones)
• Work collaboratively with the Divisional Director, Clinical Leads, other CDG leads, Clinical Services and other colleagues to ensure that service delivery and improvement plans are developed, implemented and reviewed
• Support the Clinical Services, Lead Matron and Clinical Lead in the delivery of the governance plan
• Work in partnership with colleagues across the Trust to drive the achievement of the Trust’s corporate goals and business plan, including the achievement of performance standards incorporating quality, safety, contractual, financial and people
• Act as an ambassador for the Trust, ensuring the positive development of the Trust brand, championing the Trust’s values and ensuring the recognition of the Trust in providing exceptional healthcare for patients
• Provide visible operational leadership and promote continual improvement in quality, performance and delivery of Trust objectives
• Lead, manage and motivate staff to deliver and improve services to meet the needs of patients
• Line management of administrative staff, either directly or through delegated responsibility
• Implement patient pathways with clinical staff and colleagues, which deliver best practice and make progress towards achievement of wait time standards and milestones required
• Operate as accountable budget holder and be accountable for all pay and non-pay expenditure
