Compliance Business Leads:
Heating (Gas, Oil, Heat Pumps & solid fuel)
Mechanical & Electrical (Electrical Systems, Lifts, fire alarms & life safety systems)
Salary: Up to £52,240 per annum
Location: Roaming role based at any of our main offices in Lichfield (WS13 6WA), Wolverhampton (WV10 6TB), Tewkesbury (GL20 8ND) or Chipping Sodbury (BS37 6JX).

Key Responsibilities: As the Compliance Business Lead, you will provide expert advice and act as a specialist advisor on compliance matters within your area of expertise across the business. You will align effective compliance practices, establish and monitor a compliance strategy with appropriate governance, and ensure procedures and training are in place for colleagues with compliance responsibilities. You will be responsible for embedding legislative requirements in all areas of the business. We want to provide homes that customers feel safe in, are proud to live in, and that serve as a springboard for achieving their aspirations - not a barrier.
What We're Looking For: We are seeking candidates who have in-depth, expert knowledge of key compliance-related functions in their specialist area.
For the Heating Business Lead: Experience and accredited qualifications relating to gas, oil and solid fuel is essential with a broader knowledge of electrical and renewable heating systems being advantageous.
For the M&E Business Lead: Experience and accredited qualifications in the application of BS7671 (18 Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations) are essential to succeed in this role. A HNC or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering would also be desirable.
For both roles, a broad knowledge and understanding of the core landlord compliance related activities across multiple disciplines would be advantageous.
Proven experience of managing compliance-related activity at a senior/specialist level is essential for this role, as are specialist qualifications in one of the following areas:
1. Heating Safety (Gas, Oil, Solid Fuel & Renewables)
2. Electrical Safety
3. Lifting Equipment Safety
4. Water Hygiene Safety (Legionella)
5. Asbestos Management
6. Legionella
7. Fire Safety
You will be someone who has:
* A flexible working attitude with time, travel, and demonstrated reliability
* Confidence in using Microsoft Office applications, including emails, MS Teams, and other organisational software applications
* Ability to use mobile devices, i.e., tablets, smartphones, etc.
* In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations
* Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping
* The desire to be a great ambassador for Bromford Flagship
* Access to a vehicle and a full driving licence.
