We are seeking a motivated and analytical Finance and KPI Reporting Analyst to join our growing finance team. This role will play an important part in providing key financial insights and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 DOE
Location: Teddington, TW11
Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
Key Responsibilities
● Financial Reporting and Data Analysis:
○ Collect, clean, and analyse large volumes of data from various sources, including ERP systems, CRM systems, and other databases.
○ Prepare and analyse weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), variance analysis, and management accounts.
○ Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to track key business metrics and identify trends.
○ Work with the Systems team to develop and maintain accurate and timely reporting systems.
○ Prepare presentations and reports summarizing key findings and recommendations to management.
● Business Partnering:
○ Collaborate closely with business leaders across departments to provide insightful analysis.
○ Provide financial support and guidance to business units on budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement initiatives.
○ Act as a subject matter expert on financial matters within the organization.
● Process Improvement:
○ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes.
○ Automate reporting processes wherever possible using tools such as Excel, VBA, and other data analysis software.
● Project Support:
○ Provide financial support and analysis for special projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, new product launches, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
● Part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is an additional positive.
● Minimum 3/4 years of experience in a financial analysis or reporting role.
● Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas, macros, pivot tables, and data visualization.
● Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines.
● Proven ability to improve processes.
