Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Hull and East Riding Intermediate Care Community Team, as a Generic Therapy Associate Practitioner. You will work as part of a Multi-disciplinary team to provide Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy input to patients who require community Intermediate Care rehabilitation across Hull and East Riding. The role requires you to work with both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists as well as independently under the guidance of a Therapist. You will receive training and work towards competencies in both professions. Following this, you will continue to receive training and support to enable you to deliver high quality therapy interventions to the best of your ability. You should be empathetic, have excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to support and motivate others to achieve their potential. It would be helpful for you to have had experience of working with people with physical problems within the community or hospital settings and essential that you are a car driver and have basic IT skills. You will be supported by a well-established and very experienced Multidisciplinary Team and will receive supervision and support from the Advanced Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist.
