Audio Visual Design Engineer
About the Role
As an Audio Visual Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and delivering world-class AV solutions for themed entertainment globally. You will work on audio video as well as control systems, network and media solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Project design and engineering: Creating and refining concept, schematic, design development, installation and maintenance documents.
* System specifications and project management: Creating system specifications, site reports, project budgets, bills of materials and bid documentation.
* Effective customer relationships: Building effective customer relationships that enable the company to leverage additional opportunities.
Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Educational background in electronics or a related engineering field (degree not essential).
* Experience designing audio visual systems.
* CTS, or CTS-D is preferred, but not essential, as is IET accreditation.
* Experience working with products from a range of manufacturers, such as Barco, Christie, Alcorn McBride, Crestron, Extron or Q-SYS.

* Has strong verbal and written communications skills in English, and can influence colleagues and customers.
* Is organised and knows how to balance multiple priorities.
* Can create drawings and schematics in AutoCAD, Inventor or a similar package.
* Can travel to client sites globally.
* Possesses experience in entertainment, engineering, and/or control systems programming (a plus).
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
