Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager - Technical Lead to join our contracts team, reporting directly to the Senior Contracts Manager.
This role combines the responsibilities of both a Technical Manager and a Contracts Manager, with the primary focus on technical management and additional duties under the contracts remit.
Main Responsibilities:
Technical Management:
* Coordination and Execution: Oversee all aspects of contracts from planning and scheduling to execution and completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
* Gallagher Pulse Fence System: Ideally, the candidate will have experience with this system or similar PIDS products. Knowledge of Control Systems, Hardware, Software, accessories, and related requirements is essential.
* Level 3 Engineering Qualification: The ideal candidate will hold or be willing to obtain a Level 3 Engineering qualification for Gallagher and related products. JB Corrie will provide support for this qualification if necessary.
* Automated Access Control Equipment: Manage Automated Access Control Equipment, Gates, Blockers, and associated accessories, including hardware, software, commissioning, and handover activities.
Contracts Management:
* Contract Planning: Produce plans outlining scope, timeline, and resources required for each contract.
* Nominated Contract Management: Manage nominated contracts, working towards projected margins, program deadlines, and client expectations.
* Estimate Breakdown: Provide input into estimate breakdown.
* Procurement and Scheduling: Procure materials and plant required for contracts, schedule and coordinate installer activities using Kelio Planning, and ensure efficient resource use.
* Expense Authorization: Authorise installers' expenses and overtime in a timely manner.
* Leave Management: Monitor, record, and authorise installers' annual leave and absences via Kelio.
* Certifications and Training: Stay up-to-date with industry certifications and encourage installers to achieve relevant certifications.
* Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to company policies, especially Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance policies.
* Site Visits and Client Liaison: Carry out regular site visits and maintain constructive liaison with clients.
* New Business Generation: Assist with generating new business, clients, and enquiries.
* RAMS and Payment Applications: Organize RAMS for contracts and negotiate interim/final payment applications.
* Invoicing and Meetings: Authorise invoices where applicable on Sage and attend various meetings as required.
* Departmental Targets: Work towards achieving departmental targets and objectives.
Location:
The role will support multiple sites and locations throughout the UK, requiring travel and overnight stays, which will be supported by subsistence.
Hours:
Up to 37 hours, full-time.
Salary:
From £55,000 - depending on experience, plus a company vehicle.
