Working hours equate to 36.5 per week (Weekly hours vary as you will be working to a shift pattern equivalent to 182.5 hours over a 5-week period)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Social Workers (Homeless Pathway) to join Birmingham City Council’s Adult Out of Hours and AMHP Team. Successful candidates will join a strong and supportive team which works throughout the city of Birmingham.
The role will serve to enhance the current level of support to adults experiencing homelessness out of hours. The successful candidates will work in partnership with housing projects for homeless citizens, together with Hospital Emergency Departments to address delayed transfers of care. Prevention and timely intervention with citizens are key to the role. We are looking for qualified social workers with proven experience of working within adult social care. An understanding of the needs of adults experiencing homelessness is essential to this post. You must be eligible to be registered with Social Work England.
The Team works evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays on a rota basis.

Golden Hello payment - £1,000, (upon external appointment)
