My client is a successful licensed global brand who is looking for a highly organised and motivated Operations Assistant to join their team in their Watford office. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to support their operations and ensure smooth communication across various departments. Previous admin experience, preferably within a fashion environment, is required; above all, a willingness to learn and grow within the industry is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Track and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) from customers, ensuring timely processing.
* Communicate and resolve any queries with customers and factories regarding orders.
* Upload sales orders, POs, and styles into the ERP system, ensuring accurate data.
* Send POs to factories and sales order confirmations to customers.
* Monitor delivery schedules and provide updates to customers on any delays or issues.
* Provide barcodes, packing, and shipping instructions to factories.
* Send weekly order books to customers and follow up for bookings.
* Process booking forms and communicate delivery schedules with warehouses.
* Address queries from the credit control and finance departments.
* Ensure efficient and accurate reporting throughout each sales season.
* Collaborate with factories and shipping departments on salesman samples.
* Support the operations team with ad-hoc tasks related to sales and purchase orders.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Natural ability to multi-task with strict adherence to deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word; able to learn ERP systems quickly.
* Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
