A highly regarded regional contractor based in Redhill is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their expanding team. With a turnover of £100m, the company specialises in delivering exceptional projects in sectors such as education, health-care, and commercial. Their projects typically range from £5m to £20m and include a mix of competitive tenders and framework agreements. Contract length 18 months.
About the role of Estimator
We are looking for a confident and detail-oriented Estimator to take responsibility for preparing accurate tenders and cost plans. You will work on a wide variety of projects, collaborating closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities for an Estimator
Ensure tenders are delivered to a high standard and within set deadlines.
Produce accurate cost plans and estimates from first principles for projects valued between £5-£20 million.
Evaluate tender documents and interpret project requirements effectively.
Support junior team members, providing guidance and coaching to help them progress.
Develop strong relationships with supply chain partners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Requirements for an Estimator
Full right to work in the UK.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Must be based within 90 minutes of Redhill.
A solid understanding of both competitive tendering and two-stage procurement processes.
