Overview Total Politics Group is seeking a proactive and experienced Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts across its Scottish brand including Holyrood Magazine, and its events portfolio. Based in Edinburgh, this role plays a key part in shaping and implementing marketing strategies in collaboration with the Scottish team, reporting to the Director of Marketing in London. About the Role As Marketing Manager, you will craft and execute multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement, generate leads, and grow our brand presence. Collaborating with teams across Events, Design, Media, and Sales, you’ll ensure seamless delivery of impactful strategies in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Director of Marketing, Senior Events Marketing Manager, Holyrood events and the Publishing team to deliver media and events marketing strategies. Develop and execute event marketing strategies, including sponsorship promotion and delegate acquisition campaigns. Create media marketing strategies to drive inbound leads, grow audiences, and boost brand awareness Partner with the Design team to produce compelling marketing assets across print and digital channels. Oversee campaign objectives, revenue targets, and KPIs, ensuring timely delivery and measurable results. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Streamline processes to maximize efficiency and accuracy in campaign execution. Attend live events across Scotland and the UK as required. Skills & Experience Required 5 years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years in Events Marketing. Strong understanding of the Scottish political and public sectors. Exceptional copywriting and communication skills. Experience with database management and email marketing systems. Proven track record in planning and delivering successful marketing campaigns. Website management and performance reporting expertise. Ability to run targeted, segmented campaigns with demonstrable results. Experience in collateral design and production. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Education to degree level (desirable).
