Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Business Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing administrative support, and facilitating communication across various departments. This position requires proficiency in office management and a strong command of software tools such as Google Suite and QuickBooks.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
* Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and easily accessible.
* Perform data entry tasks with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all entries.
* Provide clerical support, including typing correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
* Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients and colleagues.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
* Support the organisation of office supplies and inventory management to ensure operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall office productivity.
Requirements
* Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) is essential.
* Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
* Excellent clerical skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry tasks.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills as required.
