Prepworld are looking for a Production & Logistics Planner to be responsible producing the daily production plans, the daily plan for all outgoing finished product, and all associated paperwork. The Production & Logistics Planner is also responsible for undertaking all of the required production administration activities. Main duties: Completion of all relevant planning, logistics and administration activities are completed on a daily basis. This includes playing an active part in carrying out these activities: Producing all daily production plans accurately and on time – volumes, run rates, WIP etc – and provided to Production team Producing daily outloading logistics accurately and on time – customer depot orders, pick sheets, ASNs and load manifests, ad distribute to Dispatch. Booking of vehicles though online portals and producing loads plans and delivery notes. Ensuring any shortages are communicated to the wider business appropriately Ensure maximum utilisation of fruit within Production Send weekly and daily staff requests to agencies as required Authorisation of transport invoices Keeping planning errors to a minimum Plan and prioritise daily operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption Obtain, cllate and communicate output information (service level, staff numbers, waste, overpacks, WIP adherence etc.) Liaising with 3rd party haulage cmpanies regarding collection times and traffic issues to ensure 100% service level is achieved. Cmpletion of Customer Issue Log Training Planning and Lgistics Administrators to conduct all activities to the required standard. Cmpiling weekly data to support Sales Admin investigations of overs/shorts etc. Maintaining recrds and archives to support audits.
