If you are a few years into your career, have experience within manufacturing engineering, and possess a particularly good comprehension of the technical documentation that accompanies best practices for manufacturing, then we want to talk to you now!
In this role, you will work closely with the company's manufacturing processes, which span machining, assembly, metal treatments, and testing. You will be largely responsible for controlling and implementing process changes and improvements to current manufacturing practices, focusing more on the assembly side onwards.
You will gain fantastic experience as the company designs its own products, machines the components, assembles and tests them. You will be involved in determining methods, tooling, and processes, compiling routings and BOMs (Bill of Materials), and even gaining exposure to 3D design software to understand firsthand how they design and manufacture their products.
There is a good proportion of NPI (New Product Introduction), development, and prototyping in this role. The company is investing heavily in technology and automation and is very much in an era of development.
What do I need to have?
1. Great understanding of manufacturing processes
2. Strong quality ethic and attention to detail when reporting and writing technical documentation
3. Ideally an understanding of manufacturing engineering concerning assembly operations
