Join the Close Brothers Vehicle Hire Team as a Bid & Build Coordinator. Here you will provide support with new business development and onboarding of new business by supporting tender applications, new vehicle pricing, asset ordering and build management through to handover of completed assets. Ensuring that all parties, both internal and external are updated throughout the process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support in maintaining an up-to-date tender response data library.
* Monitoring & qualification of relevant tender opportunities including framework portals.
* Support with the collating and maintaining target market prospect database.
* Work with all other departments of CBVH including sales, accounts, billing, underwriting, rental, logistics & maintenance.
* Responsible for checking vehicle specifications in line with order requirements.
* Processing of supplier purchase orders in line with order requirements on receipt of signed customer contracts or for business stock requirements.
* Proactively monitor vehicle build progression and ensure systems are up to date with accurate completion dates, escalating any slippage in expected completion.
* Build strong relationships with supply chain partners including dealers, body builders and ancillary providers.
* Work closely with the procurement team to ensure we are using approved procurement suppliers.
* Maintain and distribute customer build reporting.
* Process supplier invoice payments, working with the purchase ledger team.
* Onboard new assets into system accurately, recording warranty parameters (including R&M and Buyback agreements) & ensuring all legal compliance documentation is received prior to delivery of assets.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of rules of engagement as well as policies, procedures and programs.
* Support all sales functions performing customer care calls when required.
* Communicate with customers via phone & email.
* Be flexible in approach to work and undertake other additional administration tasks as required.
* Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

* Experience using Microsoft Office Packages – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

* Strong interpersonal skills.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ARE/HAVE:
* Experienced in working in a sales support environment including quote process, supplier management and in-life customer service.
* Knowledge of HGV & LCV products essential.
