Practice Development Midwife
Department: Maternity
Band 7 £46,148 to £52,809 per annum,pro rata if part-time
Hours: 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
An opportunity has arisen for a Practice Development Midwife who will be a highly motivated, experienced clinical midwife who focuses on the provision of leadership and clinical advice to support and promote excellence in safe, evidenced-based practice. The postholder will support the Division in supporting midwives clinically, developing their confidence and competence, and support the Maternity unit in its training development and facilitation. You will work within the governance team to support ongoing improvement in services and driving change within practice.
Applications are welcome from NMC registrants who are highly motivated, organised and passionate about providing safe, quality evidence-based care to the Women/birthing people who use our Maternity services.

This will be through the continuous development of practice initiatives that will support the implementation, maintenance, improvement and evaluation of obstetric and midwifery guidelines and practice. The post holder will support the Division to improve services driving changes within practice.
