Job overview
The post holder will be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team, supporting Registered Nurses and Dialysis Assistants with delegated clinical care duties including clinical observations as directed by registered professionals and within clearly defined parameters, to provide healthcare and support that is individualised to the patient needs. Assisting the RN in the preparation of the area for dialysis.
Applicants must have:
* Experience of working in health or social care
* Experience of undertaking and recording clinical observations and escalation of changes or findings
Applicants must also have:
* Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 (GCSE A-C/4-9 equivalent)
* Care certificate
* or Short courses and completion of competency workbook equivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical care duties and/or Equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of clinical care duties equivalent to Level 3

The post holder has a personal responsibility and duty of care to patients/service users; they are expected to comply fully with all Trust policies and protocols, including those related to patient safety and the prevention of healthcare associated infections.
