Limit of Tenure applies We are seeking a full time Research Laboratory Co-ordinator to support the research groups of Professors Martin Bennett and Murray Clarke and Associate Professor Helle Jorgensen. The labs are based within the Section of Cardiorespiratory Medicine in the new Heart and Lung Institute at the University of Cambridge. Our research examines fundamental processes involved in atherosclerosis, and aims to identify novel mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets in vascular disease. The successful applicant will manage a wet laboratory comprising 20-30 researchers, including budget control, ordering, line management of more junior technical staff, laboratory supervision, safety and protocols. A Home Office licence (or willingness to obtain one) and some basic histology, cell and molecular biology experience would be advantage. The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Biological Sciences (or equivalent) and possess strong managerial experience.
