Priory Hospital Enfield is a 53 bed hospital in the Borough of Enfield and is situated with very good transport links. The site provides services in both a forensic setting (male medium secure & low secure) and acute services (mixed sex). The hospital can cater for up to 53 patients at one time across four wards.
Job Advert Role Description
An opportunity has been created for a motivated Fitness Instructor to join our service to deliver fitness interventions to our patients. We are looking for someone who has a passion for fitness to deliver individual and group training sessions to our patients and work with our MDT to promote a healthy lifestyle for our patients.
We are looking for someone who can develop, implement and evaluates the delivery of an agreed fitness, physical and sports programme designed to support recovery, development and well-being of patients with mental health illness, which works in conjunction with agreed therapeutic /care interventions.
We have on site gym facilities which would be available for the successful candidate to be based in as well as local fitness amenities which they can take patients to if agreed by our MDT.
