Description
A leading manufacturing organisation is looking to recruit a Qualified Finance Manager to join their team. Acting as a business partner, you will be working closely with the operational teams providing financial support and analysis as well as reporting to the Senior Members of the Management team.
A summary of duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Monthly and ad hoc accurate management information reports and management of month-end procedures
2. Provision of finance support service to operations, with line management responsibility for 1 direct report
3. Preparation, analysis, and reporting of all financial data relating to Operations
4. Regular reporting to Group of savings achieved through business projects
5. Monthly variance analysis including recoveries, yield, and stock. Management of stock take/cycle counting accuracy
6. Management/reporting of WIP
7. Determination of, analysis, and reporting of key drivers for operations
8. Accuracy of product costs in SAP, including BOM's and recipes
9. Produce annual budgets and rolling forecasts quarterly
10. Drive clear understanding of operational performance through regular meetings with operational managers
Applications are welcome from CIMA or ACCA qualified Accountants with a minimum of 5 years PQE and experience of working in a manufacturing environment with standard costing principles is essential. You will have advanced Excel skills and working experience of SAP or other ERP systems.
