We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented SEO Executive, with a passion for SEO, to join our award-winning Organic Search team in Manchester.

You’ll be working in the SEO team and part of an agency where your skills and understanding of SEO will help us to deliver Organic Search performance for our client portfolio.
You will be responsible for supporting and delivering SEO activity and strategy to deliver a full range of organic search services, including technical SEO, content and backlinks. You’ll be analytical, using your SEO knowledge to identify, diagnose, improve and optimisation techniques, to boost our clients’ website visibility and traffic.
This role is ideal for anyone who is starting out or relatively new to the SEO industry and looking to broaden and develop their SEO knowledge into an advanced, strategic Organic Search mindset.
Your day to day
We’re looking for a SEO Executive to be a driving force behind our Organic Search strategy.
As part of our Performance Marketing team, our new SEO Executive will have a good grasp and knowledge of SEO fundamentals. You’ll also demonstrate teamwork, initiative, and collaborative qualities, to be able to work alongside Copywriters, Digital PR and Web Development teams to deliver organic search success.
Leveraging your knowledge of SEO best practices, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to optimise our website and content and drive organic traffic.
If you don’t have much SEO experience, don’t fret – we’re looking for someone with the appetite to learn new SEO tactics and build on their existing understanding. We’ll also provide training in the form of courses, industry conferences, and on-the-job learning, giving you all the tools you need to flourish in this role.
As part of your role, you will:
* Support and implement SEO strategy for clients, aligned with client goals and organic search best practice.
* Monitor and analyse website health, traffic, and conversion data, deriving insights to refine SEO strategies and performance reports.
* Undertake SEO auditing, analyse and diagnose tech SEO issues and provide recommendations.
* Carry out keyword research, insight and search trends analysis.
* Collaborate with copywriting to create SEO-optimised, engaging, and relevant content, based on organic search insights and assess content for ability to perform in the SERPs.
* Provide organic performance and ROI reporting, identify areas for improvement and potential opportunities.
* Communicate with clients and build working relationships via regular calls and meetings.
* Liaise with and report to senior stakeholders to highlight return on investment and progress achieved on KPIs.
* Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, updates and best practices, attend industry events (for example, we attend BrightonSEO and Women in Tech SEO Festival regularly).
* Receive internal and external training and upskilling across variety of topics, from tech SEO to presentation skills, to digital PR pitching, site migrations and copywriting principles.
An ideal candidate would show:
* Understanding of basic technical and content SEO fundamentals and how search engines work.
* Understanding of SEO tools used for certain tasks, but not necessary to have experience in these.
* Appetite, passion and willingness to learn more about SEO and the Organic Search industry.
* Digital tool adaptability – the ability to get familiar with new digital tools (such as Content Management Systems, Google Analytics/Search Console/Looker Studio, Microsoft Office)
* Great interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills – you’ll be working with teams across our agency and client portfolio
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Good time-management and task prioritisation skills
