Senior Project Controls Specialist - Freelance - London
Location: London (UK)
Availability: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Contract Duration: 6 months (+ possible extensions)
Start Date: January 2025

Our client is seeking a Project Controls Specialist with a diverse skill set and strong experience in managing large construction projects, preferably in the offshore wind industry. This role involves supporting project planning, risk management, and change management while ensuring the successful execution of key project control functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning:
* Create and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
* Analyze risks, delays, and deviations; update schedules accordingly.
* Risk Management:
* Facilitate risk workshops and maintain risks using ARM.
* Help develop and implement mitigation strategies.
* Scope and Change Management:
* Track and assess changes in scope, budget, and schedule.
* Ensure proper approval processes for change requests.
* Reporting and Dashboards:
* Assist with project performance reports and dashboard updates.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Extensive experience in large construction projects, preferably within offshore wind.
* Proficiency with tools such as:
* ARM (Active Risk Manager)
* Primavera P6
* ThinkCell
* Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, teamwork focus, and attention to detail.
