The Organisational Development Facilitator is responsible for delivering a professional, client-centred, internal Organisational Development service to meet the needs of the organisation.
Main duties of the job
1. Design, deliver and evaluate training and development interventions that are aligned to the I.CARE values including facilitation of workshops, and/or team development and a welcome introduction for corporate induction.
2. Working with Head of OD, develop leadership capability across the organisation, through a range of methods including training, coaching, mentoring, self-development, on the job development and e-learning.
3. With HR colleagues and the Head of OD, develop and deliver team and management interventions to resolve conflict in teams and promote effective team working e.g. designing and implementing initiatives.
4. Working alongside leaders to develop and deliver a strategic approach to performance improvement, engagement and change management to support the achievement of the Trust's desired culture and behaviours.
5. Take an active role in project management and communication activities e.g. promoting Staff Survey and monitoring of actions following feedback from local and the national staff surveys.
6. Work with managers to develop bespoke events e.g. facilitated away days or tailored departmental training, advising on content and format where appropriate.
7. Act as a role model and coach members of staff on a one-to-one basis.
8. In conjunction with the Head of Organisational Development produce effective training needs analysis and evaluation reports on training and development activity and its effectiveness.

Job responsibilities
1. Deliver presentations and facilitate meetings and workshops to a wide range of audiences, agreeing actions and plans for work programmes and initiatives.
2. Pro-actively engage in relationship-building with key stakeholders including the Executive Team & Directors, Senior Managers, Line Managers, other corporate services, staff, and clinicians/medical staff.
3. Undertake information gathering to inform projects and to identify potential funding opportunities utilising the knowledge gained to inform the Trust.
4. Ensure that managers and leaders are supported in developing a culture in which staff act in accordance with the I.CARE values and in the interests of the trust.
5. Supports the translation of national policies and initiatives into effective local action, by planning and delivering organisational development interventions to support the necessary organisational and service developments.
6. Ensure training programmes are designed, where possible, with a robust evidence base.
7. Present information to a wide range of stakeholders, including patients and user groups in formal settings.
8. Occasionally develop business cases for delivering new OD initiatives that will meet the strategic direction of the Trust.
9. Take responsibility for own learning and development by recognizing and taking advantage of all opportunities to learn, including participation in development review, supervision, action learning and by maintaining a professional/personal portfolio of learning.
10. Participate in team, professional and personal development activities and promote a commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.

Essential
1. Degree or equivalent experience
2. Evidence of continuous professional development
3. Full / Part CIPD qualification or equivalent or a willingness to work towards one

1. Experience of devising programmes specifically to promote leadership, management and team development
2. Experience of providing expert facilitation, coaching and personal and team development to all levels of staff
3. Experience of working in OD at a senior level, in a complex environment.
