We are seeking an experienced professional to join our IT team in Leicester on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of the Service Desk team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day resolution of incidents and service requests, ensuring our staff receive exceptional IT support.
What We're Looking For
* Experience:
* a minimum of two to three years experience in a customer-facing service desk role
* experience with PC hardware and configuration
* knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
* experience working in a multisite support environment
* proficiency with Service Desk applications (e.g. FreshService, ServiceNow, Assist, Remedy)
* Skills:
* a clean, full UK driving licence
* adaptable and flexible, with a solutions-focused approach to challenges
* excellent problem-solving skills
* strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
What You'll Be Doing
* Resolving technical support queries received via phone, email, or the Helpdesk portal.
* Conducting first- and second-line troubleshooting, with third line support available as needed.
* Identifying, creating, and resolving problem tickets where possible.
* Taking ownership of support issues and being proactive in resolving user queries.
* Working within agreed SLAs, providing timely updates for existing tickets.
* Maintaining a high standard of customer service for all support requests.
* Assisting with IT projects and contributing to user guides/technical documentation.
* Conducting site visits to remote offices to deliver hands-on IT support.
