Location: Media City, Salford - This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office with home working.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Main Responsibilities
BBC Bitesize is seeking a producer to deliver the editorial technical implementation of an external adaptive learning system into the BBC Bitesize product. This role requires close working with Product Group colleagues to deliver a new user experience to tight deadlines.
You will have an extensive knowledge of both editorial and product architecture in educational experiences for both web and mobile app.
You will have demonstrable experience of implementing tagging structures in both CMS and XML.
Experience of developing adaptive educational experiences, using pedagogical requirements and mapping existing content to curriculum structures and requirements.
You will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues across different disciplines and with external suppliers.
You will have experience of agile working and of analysing data and using it to inform editorial and product requirements.
Are you the right candidate?
1. Extensive knowledge of educational product architecture and curriculum structure
2. Experience of creating tagging solutions using both CMS and XML and implementation between different products both internal and external
3. Editorial pedagogical knowledge and experience of mapping content to curriculum requirements using metadata.
4. Experience of product development using agile workflows
5. Experience of using and reporting on data analysis to inform editorial and product requirements
6. Experience of building educational experiences using either machine learning and/or artificial intelligence
7. Understanding and experience of SEO and AI and their use by students in education platforms.
