Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Buyer required for a leading supplier of engineering products based in Ormskirk, Lancashire.
The Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Buyer will negotiate terms and conditions with both suppliers, couriers and freight companies and manage a team of 3 apprentices. You will be responsible for managing the supply chain and ensuring all deliveries and services are on time.
The Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Buyer will live in a commutable distance to Ormskirk, Lancashire and have prior experience as a Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Buyer or similar.

£28,000 - £35,000 Depending on experience

Responsibilities:
Negotiate terms and conditions with both suppliers, couriers and freight companies and manage a team of 3 apprentices
Manage the supply chain to ensure all deliveries and services are on time
Monitor all deliveries and liaise with different departments to ensure the correct items are ordered at a reasonable price
Monitor and assess supplier performance against metrics and KPI’s
Regularly update supply chain processes in line with company policies, laws and regulations
Assist the Managing Director with the onboarding of new staff
Monitor all office supplies and IT equipment

Requirements:
Prior experience as a Supply Chain Manager / Office Manager / Procurement Officer / Procurement Manager / Buyer or similar experience
