We are Looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Club Steward who will plays a vital role in managing the daily operations of the club, ensuring a welcoming environment for members and guests while overseeing bar services, events, and facility maintenance. This position requires a dynamic individual who is customer-focused, organized, and able to work collaboratively with club members and staff. You will be required to live onsite.
The Role:
* Bar and Cellar Work: Manage bar operations and cellar stock, ensuring quality service.
* Stock Control: Maintain inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and order supplies as needed.
* Supplier Negotiation: Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms.
* Customer Engagement: Foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests.
* Digital Savvy: Manage email communications, website updates, and social media promotion effectively.
* Function Promotion: Actively promote and coordinate club functions and events.
* Beer Garden and Play Area Management: Oversee maintenance, promotion, and development of these areas in collaboration with club members.
* Minor Maintenance: Report and address minor maintenance issues within the clubhouse, such as light bulbs and locks.
* Cleaning Duties: Ensure regular cleaning and upkeep of the clubhouse and surrounding areas.
* Security: Monitor and maintain security for the clubhouse and grounds.
* Additional Opening Hours: Facilitate daytime operations for astro and clubhouse bookings, with potential for incentivized payment.
* Health & Safety Responsibilities: Act as fire warden and conduct playground inspections.
* Waste Management: Oversee waste disposal and recycling efforts.
* Reporting: Prepare regular reports for the committee on bar income, function numbers, and ideas for future development.

The Person:
* Experience in bar management or hospitality preferred.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a welcoming environment.
* Basic maintenance skills are a plus.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
* Prepared to live onsite - 2 Bed Bungalow - Single or Double Occupancy.
