Hours and days are as required
Salary (Grade 4 Points 18 to 22)
£33, to £36, per annum pro rata
(subject to pending Job Evaluation)
This salary includes £2, Market Allowance, which is in place until the outcome of Job Evaluation is confirmed and then will be reviewed.
West Lothian College are looking to recruit an outstanding Work Based Assessor for Children and Young People to our staff bank within the Care, Health and Sport faculty. Working within the friendly and knowledgeable team, you will be part of a highly motivated team of Work-Based Assessors working with organisations looking to upskill and reskill their workforce by undertaking Modern Apprenticeships and SVQs within the Children and Young People sector.
We are looking for individuals who are able to be flexible on a fixed term ‘as and when’ basis. Working from home, you will have the advantage of being flexible in your daily working hours over the course of the week. You will be educated to SCQF Level 9 in the Children and Young People sector, and be assessor qualified. You will have a good understanding and previous experience within this sector. You will have good organisational skills to prioritise effectively and the ability to communicate at all levels in order to help others achieve and hold qualifications and experience which meet SSSC Management registration requirements.
Candidates that have been selected for an interview will undertake a value and competency-based interview as well as being required to prepare and deliver a 10 minute presentation.
