We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator for maternity cover for our client based in Hitchin. This role is a temporary position with a immediate start.
Position Summary:
To coordinate all aspects required to ensure the effective receipt/shipment of supplier/customer orders with all correct receipt/shipping documentation and following all compliance requirements.
Principle Responsibilities:
The scope of this role includes, but is not exclusive to, the following: -
Run daily allocation reports and ensure product is allocated following the companys priorities, liaising with
Operations/Sales where issues arise.
Raise all required paperwork relating to the shipping process.
Put away finished goods into assigned stock locations.
Pick and pack product to customer orders and requirements.
Book shipments with defined carriers using online system,
Ensure all compliance requirements are followed as per the companys policies.
Daily monitoring and resolving of customer concerns.
Maintain accurate and timely filing of documentation and provide required documentation when requested.
Support in other areas of the department as required.
Provide cover for team members during sickness, holiday, or periods of increased workload.
Qualifications/Experience/Training:
Minimum 3 years experience within a manufacturing environment.
Good working knowledge of MS Office and ERP Systems.
