Job Description
Building surveying, consulting, contract management, project management, and project monitoring are key aspects of this role. This company is a growing building contractor with an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic qualified surveyor. As a surveyor, your role will be to work alongside our in-house team in surveying and managing projects. Your main duties will include:
1. Preparation of insurance reinstatement schedule of works
2. Report writing
3. Project management
You will have the opportunity to manage projects from initial inception through project delivery on site and build relationships with multiple stakeholders within the insurance sector.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Degree in Building Surveying/BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent
2. Experience in the Building Insurance Claim Sector, including preparation of insurance reinstatement cost assessments
3. Experience in preparing planned maintenance schedules
4. Understanding of health and safety and implications of the CDN Regulations
5. Ability to ensure client reports are prepared to the correct specifications and issued to clients within agreed timescales
6. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all internal departments
7. Confidence in a client-facing role
8. UK driving licence (essential)
9. AutoCAD knowledge (favourable)
