Ocean Import Coordinator - The Role:
We are looking for someone to join our fast-growing ocean import department as an Ocean Import Co-Ordinator. This varied role involves working closely with our customers to manage all aspects of their ocean imports. This ranges from issuing quotes, arranging shipments, managing the customs clearance process and everything else through to ensuring the client receives their shipments on time.
You will build close working relationships with customers, overseas partners as well as internal teams so good communication skills are key in this role. Continuous support and training will be given as we aim to help you develop your skills and knowledge to allow you to grow your career with Davies Turner.
Ocean Import Coordinator - You:
For this Ocean Import Co-Ordinator opportunity, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in customer services
- Previous experience or knowledge of shipping & transport services
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to build and maintain effective relationships
In addition, you'll also need the right to work in the UK - we are not able to sponsor work permits.
