As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations at our site. You will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards. We are looking for a candidate who is experienced in supervising teams, has excellent communication skills, and can effectively handle any challenges that may arise. KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee and ensure the safe and compliant operation of the site and all ancillary activities.
2. Provide clear leadership, guidance and advice to the site team to deliver the site targets and objectives, ensuring strong communication is maintained to build a skilled motivated team that deliver agreed output.
3. Organise and manage the workforce to achieve agreed production rates, quality control and compliance of the operation against internal and statutory standards.
4. Coach and mentor direct reports and wider team as needed providing advice and support to ensure performance expectations of themselves and teams are met. Working with Site Manager/Regional Manager and other key stakeholders in instances where performance expectations are not being met.
5. Support the Site Manager with team engagement / Quest plans to drive team motivation and performance.
6. Maintaining relevant Site Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards and records.
7. Provide support as part of the night Standby and Call-out rota covering the site.
8. Ensure that all records as determined by Company policies and procedures are completed and kept accurate ensuring there is transparent record keeping. Ensure that documentation is retained and stored in line with GDPR regulations and, where required, the collection, review and dispatch of relevant paperwork to Head Office and clients.
9. Management and review of operational budgets and forecasting to ensure an efficient and cost-effective operation.
10. Maintaining and controlling the Plant and vehicle/machinery service routines, requirements, and records as per Company and Plant procedures.
11. Facilitating all Site administration, within agreed timeframes.
12. Organise the monitoring and restocking of essential site resources.
13. Lead the team to ensure that there are no complaints relating to the site from local residents or regulators and deal promptly with any concerns raised.
14. Support the Site Manager and lead on actions as directed to support external and internal site audits.
15. Liaison with clients’ operational staff and management connected to deliveries.
16. Ensure site standards are kept at the required level and promote good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Mechanical/electrical aptitude
2. Experience of Gas to Grid
3. Operation of plant and machinery
4. Scada Operation
5. Telehandler/loading shovel
6. Sensitivity to the biological process
7. WAMITAB COTC 4 would be advantageous
8. Formal training in managing operational Health & Safety would be advantageous
9. Abrasive Wheel Certificate desirable
10. Confined Space Trained an advantage
