Job Title: SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in SEN teaching Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Knowledge of relevant SEN legislation and best practises Strong organisational and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience using assistive technology in teaching Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with SEN in an educational setting in Oxfordshire.
