Financial Accountant - 18 month FTC - Not for Profit - Widnes - Hybrid Working

A national not for profit organisation currently on an exciting growth and transformation programme. Hybrid working and the opportunity to work 5 days in 4 every week.
Your new role
Duties and responsibilities include:
* Technical Finance expert who is responsible for compliance in accordance with financial regulations and standards.
* Liaison with external auditors and responsible for the preparation of the group's statutory accounts.
* Responsible for the integrity of the balance sheet and the production of monthly balance sheet and cash flow reporting for the group.
* Lead on the financial integration of any new business resulting from M&A.
* Responsible for the timely submission of key financial information to the necessary bodies e.g. HMRC, VAT, ONS, CQC, Gift aid.
* Responsible for overseeing the production of the internal management accounts, ready for review by the Finance Business Partners.
What you'll need to succeed
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with significant experience in financial management in either the charitable sector, or a group structure.
What you'll get in return
18 month maternity cover FTC working a minimum of 1 day per week in the office. You can also work your full working week over 4 days.
Potential for the contract to be extended or become permanent.
