We are recruiting for a Business Support Officer on behalf of a public sector client in Cornwall. You will work directly with the Executive Board Director to provide vital administrative and business support, manage multiple diaries, organize key meetings and events, and ensure seamless daily operations.
The essential, must have requirements are:
* Management of diaries experience
* 2-3 days a week in either Bodmin or Truro in Cornwall
* NHS experience
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for all communications, handling inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Coordinate and manage meetings, conferences, and events, including scheduling across multiple health and social care organizations.
Build strong working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and health partners.
Oversee workstreams, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of team activities.
Assist with report preparation, risk tracking, and recommending improvements to processes.
Person Specification:
Educated to degree level or equivalent, with substantial experience in a similar administrative or business support role.
Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, with expertise in managing complex schedules and adapting to shifting priorities.
Working Conditions:
This is a desk-based role involving frequent use of a VDU, occasional travel, and the flexibility to meet evolving business needs.
