Discover Impactful Work:
The Business Product Leader will direct a team that includes Product Management and Market Development, in collaboration with Commercial, Marketing, Medical Science Liaisons, and business development to develop and implement the business strategy for global adoption of the Exent solution. EXENT is an IVDR certified fully integrated and automated mass spectrometry system designed to transform diagnosis and assessment for patients with monoclonal gammopathies, including multiple myeloma.
A Day in the Life:
* Develop top line revenue by identifying and driving targeted activities building the overall services portfolio performance.
* Responsible for partnering with commercial leaders and key internal collaborators to build a go-to-market strategy to deliver on annual operating plan commitments and build long-term strategic plans to set up the organization for success.
* Lead business strategy to support delivery of downstream clinical education, driving service awareness, research, adoption, and evangelism among key opinion leaders.
* Build market access roadmap, managing evidence generation, as well as coding and pricing strategies to enable reimbursement coverage.
* Drive business operations from both a near- and long-term perspective defining the strategic roadmap while simultaneously leading execution of key results to achieve commercial and corporate objectives (P&L).
* Leverage a project team approach with indirect resources in Marketing, R&D, and other SMEs to develop ongoing business strategies for STRAP purposes.
* Partner with commercial and functional leaders to drive incremental growth through customer value proposition.
* Align with cross-functional teams to ensure partnerships and key initiatives.
* Provide regular updates on business development activities to relevant internal partners.
* Leverage digital marketing channels to drive lead generation and improved access to target audiences.
* Monitor market intelligence including competition; macroeconomics and the regulatory environment.
Keys To Success:
* Successful track record in defining, planning, and crafting strategies and initiatives that set direction for the business unit across various global markets.
* Strong business insight and critical thinking abilities, with deep appreciation of the market dynamics. Analytical approach, identify trends, and making data-driven decisions.
* Keen understanding of the customer journey through Digital Channels (how customers research, engage and purchase) and tailoring business strategies appropriately.
* Familiarity with government policy and funding practices and an existing network of key opinion leaders.
* Strong executive presence, leadership skills and ability to cultivate strong relationships.
Education
* BSc in Immunology, Biochemistry, or related subject required.
* PhD in Biochemistry, Immunology, or related subject (or equivalent experience proven in scientific support) strongly preferred.
Experience
* Minimum 15 years’ successful professional experience in diagnostics industry required.
* Strong preference for candidates with a background in oncology, life sciences, pharma, and/or molecular diagnostic testing markets.
* Proven experience leading P&L with demonstrated success in building successful organization.
* Successful execution of go-to-market strategies, portfolio development, new product/service launches, and market expansion initiatives.
* Ability to build strong, influential relationships with large national/private payers, industry collaborators and other influencers, facilitating provider and patient access to innovative services.
* Strategic thinker capable of navigating a highly competitive environment to transform the company’s value proposition.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
* Excellent communicator both with internal and external partners
* Strong organizational and project management skills, including excellent record-keeping skills and good documentation practice.
* Ability to identify ways to improve and promote quality; apply feedback to improve performance; monitor own work to ensure quality.
* Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, complex work environment.
* Advanced use of MS Office Suites.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
* Full clean driving licence
* Valid Passport required.
* Ability and flexibility to travel 50% each week with occasional both domestic and internationally.
