What skills and experience we're looking for
We have an exciting new opportunity for an after-school assistant who will help to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our pupils after school. The postholder will ensure the safety, welfare, physical and mental wellbeing of children and the maintenance of good order and discipline.
We welcome interested applicants to come and visit the school, to meet the staff and the students and to understand the aspirations that the school has for the future. To arrange a visit to the school, please contact Sharon Liddle, Finance & Operations Officer on: admin@stpeter.doncaster.sch.uk
What the school offers its staff
We have a culture of excellence where the standards and expectations are high, consistent and clear. Our Catholic values and ethos permeate all aspects of school life, and Christ is at the heart of all we do. Our children are provided with opportunities to develop their personal faith and relationship with God.
Commitment to safeguarding
St Francis CMAT and St Peter’s Catholic Primary School are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. References will be requested for all candidates invited to interview. For any post which involves working with children, you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records check at an enhanced level and a barred list check.
