Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the finance team, ensuring the smooth processing of invoices and payments. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the purchase ledger, including coding and posting invoices.
2. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
3. Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely payments.
4. Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries.
5. Assisting with month-end processes and reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
