About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Leeds on a full:time basis from February 24th until Easter. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach KS3 and KS4 Science, helping students develop their knowledge and critical thinking skills in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Position Details
Location: Leeds
Contract: Long term full time position
Pay Rate: GBP150 : GBP223 per day (UPS rates considered)
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness for one).
* Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Differentiate lessons to accommodate varying abilities and learning styles.
* Prepare students for GCSE exams through targeted teaching and support.
* Attend departmental and staff meetings, contributing to school:wide initiatives.
* Collaborate with the Science department to develop innovative teaching strategies.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress.
* Take part in extracurricular activities and Science:related events.
* Manage laboratory resources and ensure health and safety standards are met.
* Encourage and reward positive student behaviour and effort.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to students exploring Science:based careers.
