About the Role
We're seeking a Clinical Team Lead to join our team as a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical). As a travel-based role, you'll manage and develop teams in various care homes across your region. Working closely with the General Manager or hiring manager, you'll help implement action plans to meet the needs of our residents.
In the absence of the General Manager, you'll take on leadership duties, helping with everything from care standards to motivating your team. You'll inspire a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible quality of life for every resident. To achieve this, you'll lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
* Managing and developing teams in various care homes
* Working closely with the General Manager or hiring manager to implement action plans
* Taking on leadership duties in the absence of the General Manager
* Helping with everything from care standards to motivating your team
* Inspiring a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible quality of life for every resident
Requirements
* A Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration
* A teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification
* Previous experience working within a nursing home setting
* Evidence of continual professional development
* Experience in helping residents with different health needs
* A successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
* Some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, and an understanding of budget management
* A track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship
