Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Compensation professional to develop and lead the implementation of our Deferred Compensation strategy. Sitting within the Total Rewards function in HR, this role will act as a subject matter expert and be responsible for developing, communicating, and establishing the strategy, and working with the project team to ensure successful implementation. The role will work with a variety of senior stakeholders, including our internal consultants, external advisors, senior business executives, and wider HR.
Responsibilities:
1. Development of the deferred compensation strategy in line with senior executive objectives and direction.
2. Engaging with senior business stakeholders to obtain feedback and make adjustments to the strategy as required.
3. Lead strategy socialization activities, including with senior business leaders.
4. Engage with other project managers and portfolio leads to identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
5. Support effective change management and communication planning for stakeholder engagement and project implementation.
6. Effective stakeholder management planning and delivery, including coordination of the project status updates for leadership.
The Requirements:
1. Experience developing/implementing deferred compensation strategies in complex, global organizations.
2. Exceptional client relationship, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including direct experience with senior executives (C-suite).
3. Ability to clearly articulate and communicate ideas and present information engagingly to senior leaders.
4. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Desirable:
1. Experience navigating regulatory requirements, including understanding of union/works council considerations.
2. Experience working in a remote/hybrid manner in a global organization.
3. Degree or equivalent in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
