Payroll & Finance Assistant Location: Coventry, CV4 Salary: UP to £28,000 per annum Type: Full-Time Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with experience in payroll and finance? Join our client's dynamic team as a Payroll & Finance Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the finance department and ensuring the smooth operation of payroll and financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Duties: Accurately record and produce weekly and monthly payroll. Timely and accurate pension reporting. Maintain accurate records of deductions, including CSA. Produce and record P32, FPS, and EPS. Generate and post payroll journals for month-end reporting. Calculate and submit P11D and annual leave accruals. Regularly update the headcount. Monitor the payroll email inbox, responding to queries efficiently. Assist with year-end accounts preparation. Plan and manage your workload to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Finance Assistant Duties: Assist in reconciling 10 bank accounts, including those in 4 currencies. Provide support for debtors and creditors management. Assist with inter company reconciliation. Undertake any ad-hoc duties as requested by the Group Financial Controller. Additional Responsibilities: Respond flexibly to management requests and support the business when required. Attend meetings and training sessions as necessary to support personal and professional development. Ensure waste is minimized to benefit the company and the environment. General & Legal Responsibilities: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain quality standards. Adhere to company procedures and uphold high standards of customer service. Maintain a tidy working area to support health and safety practices. Attend health and safety training as required and comply fully with health and safety policies. About You: Experience in payroll processing and financial assistance is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your workload effectively. Excellent attention to detail, especially with numbers and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
