Warlingham Village Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team on a temporary basis (subject to EHCP funding). This role is for 12.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs, helping them to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment. An opportunity has arisen for a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team ASAP. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of working with children with SEN needs.
The successful individual will support the Class Teachers in accessing an engaging curriculum. They will be a talented and professional individual who shares our vision of high aspirations, achievement and a passion for learning. They will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day to day school life and be a strong team player.What we are looking forBe dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated
Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
Have experience of working with children with SEN
Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
Be a confident and clear communicator with parents
Have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
